Hi,
In GETRESEARCHRESULTS API, currently the keywords string can be up to 55 characters only.
The 55 character limit is insufficient for some product searches. Some products require the removal of several keywords in order to narrow the list down to the product that is being searched for. Things like battery, stylus, cover, holster, and so on may need to be removed when trying to narrow the list down to a specific item. The 55 character limit is too constringent.
Can you increase the size?
Thanks,
Rich |

Hello Rich,
I don't believe there's any plans at this point to change that limit but I'll throw it by the Development team to see what the possibilities are. |

Hello Rich,
I've done some checking into the systems and, although the keywords are restricted to 55 characters, negative keywords do not count towards this limit. So, for example, if you search on "ipod -pink" the -pink part is not counted when checking the keyword limit.
If you're still having problems perhaps you could send me an example search you are doing. |
